BWCA.net, Your Guide to Ely and The Boundary Waters Canoe Area

Whiteside Park is located in the center of Ely. It is right off of Sheridan St. and is home to many of Ely's local festivals including The Blueberry Arts Festival, The Harvest Moon Festival, The Winterfestival, The Farmer's Market and many more other wonderful events. There is an excellent bandshell and concerts are often performed in the summer. It has a playground with slides, swings, monkey bars and all the great things kids love to climb and play on. Often in the summer many groups come to play frisbee, volleyball, football, soccer and more in the large field. The Ely School is located across the street and the baseball field is located directly behind it.
